A re-release of the 1987 NES Jaws game with modern quality-of-life upgrades (save anywhere, rewind, music player, trophies/achievements, gallery).
-
Includes two modes:
-
-
Retro Edition – faithfully plays the original 2D action with enhancements.
-
Enhanced Edition – a greatly expanded multi-chapter adventure with new objectives, weapons, enemies and deeper progression.
-
-
Retro gameplay is simple and repetitive — that was true of the original NES Jaws, and that simplicity still comes through in the Retro Edition. Players say the loop (boat travel → random encounters → fight Jaws) can feel a bit grindy.
-
Mixed original reputation: The NES game has traditionally been considered okay but not great, with some players loving it and others calling it boring or dated — so how much you enjoy this re-release depends on how much you like old games.
-
Limited features: Some modern emulation extras (e.g., full button remapping) are missing — which purists say would improve comfort.
